$2,700 Health Department Inspection Fee

STEP 1: Upon Penthouse Advisors INC., receiving a $2,700 payment via Zelle or Cash a Visual inspection appointment at the Restaurant is made.

Initial Inspection work:

  • Review of the Furniture, Fixtures, Equipment attached and non attached for working condition.
  • Health Department Code approved labeling on all the Restaurant equipment with labels stating either, “nsf us or url sanitized”.
  • The grease interceptor, grease trap, or grandfather allowed grease barrels.
  • Hood inspection of the Fire Extinguisher Piping, Filters, Hood Shaft, Cables, Links, Return air motor on the roof, Extinguishers red and silver tags are inspected by our Fire Department Contractor.
  • The HVAC checked for working condition.
  • ADA Bathrooms checked to code.
  • Floor Drains, all Sink Compartments, Walling, Ceiling, Flooring Materials, Cove Moldings, Gas Water Heater temperature, Electric water heaters showing 10 kw minimum allowance.
  • Kitchen and Dining Area Alterations outside the original floor plan filed with Health Department Plan Check.

STEP 2: When Penthouse Advisors INC., finds out Code Compliance issues the following work is required.

A. Penthouse Advisors INC., will draft or has drafted by an Architect (under a “separate agreement) Blueprints for Health Department Plan Check review and approval, as follows: A Site Plan, Original floor plan and Proposed floor plan, Equipment Schedule, showing the (N) New, and (E) Existing Equipment and Reflective Ceiling Plan. Once approved the Restaurant alteration work can resume or start.

B. Penthouse Advisors INC., Licensed General Contractor bids on performing all required work to bring the Restaurant up to code compliance. At bid acceptance the work will commence, at completing Penthouse Advisors INC., performs a final inspection.

C. Upon inspection approval, Penthouse Advisors INC., facilitates an appointment for a Health Department Plan Check site evaluation with the newly assigned Inspector, generating permitting and licensing, to facilitate the ID.

Additional charges: There is a $2,500 charge per each piece of Restaurant Equipment, “Red Tagged”.

  • Gas Lines Attached To Cooking Equipment: All gas equipment located under the Hood can only be connected by a C-36 Licensed Plumber after pulling an express, “Gas Line” permit and have signed off by a Building and Safety inspector.

WARNING: If and when a Restaurants existing Floor Plan was altered by remodeling or making improvements prior to making contact with a Heath Department Plan Check inspector for a site inspection appointment, the Restaurant is Red Tag in violation, all work is stopped by health Department Plan Check.
